Antispyware please all computer people view?

okay my computer is infected with a trojan called emcodec and is resgestry value.i cant get rid of it i do a sweep and i try to delete it but when i sweep its there again???? what should i do. is there a program to get rid of this??? please if u can tell me do it in steps please and can u tell me if fire fox is secure from hackers. also i dont know if this is a sign of the trojan but somtimes my spysweeper brings up a popup saying isa.moniter.exe or something like that wants to install something and it says its a browser helper tool and i always say no. please help and can u telll me any free atnispyware that removes this kind of stuff thx ,thx alot
