Is this toshiba a good laptop for 229.00 new in box?ms stress opera theater
For that price it's pretty good
go with dual core.. forget celerons and single processors
forget vista basic..premium is better
forget less than 1gb of TRUE memory (i.e. 256 NOT stolen by gfx card)
try to get a ati or nvidia chipset for the graphics card..
and you can't really go wrong =)
works .. open office = free + better
acrobat = free download anyway
get the model number, have a look at www.ebuyer.co.uk
see if they are cheaper still =)
The $349 deal is a better deal.
The cheaper one is a good deal too, but the OS (Vista Basic) KILLS the deal !! I haven't met anyone yet that is happy with Vista Basic.
Perfect!
