Why can't i send e-mails using @yahoo.com account from outlook express???

Outlook express will receive messages but won't send. The only way I can send a mail is if I use Web browser and go to yahoo web site and log in and go to yahoo mail link. I just wish I could use outlook only. I set up the account just the way yahoo said on one of their FAQ forums, but it still doesn't work for me. I just wonder why - because it used to work just fine few years ago. Is it the inactivity factor or what??? If so how come it's all fine via browser/yahoo website???

yahoo.comm does not have pop3 access for free e-mail. i think yahoo.co.uk address has that feature. Try a freeware email client called yahoopops, http://sourceforge.net/projects/yahoopop...

Very simple. You have to become a paying member of Outlook express then only you can use it for sending out the mails.
POP3 access in Yahoo Email is only meant for featured subscribed users(ie. paid versions) the Free Yahoo email account does not give this service..
