My Dad Has Blocked A Website, www.runescape.com. How can I fix this?

hey guys, my dad has blocked www.runescape.com and I need some help on how to fix it. He gave me some hints on how to, but I just don't seem to understand and I can't find any website that can help me on this. Here is the screen that it goes to in Internet Explorer%26gt;

Did your dad use a 3rd party program to block runescape website???? If he did none of us can help you.

If he did not, then he might of added changed the host file in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC

Anyways heres the following step to unblock this:

1)Go to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC

2) Open the host file with notepad

3) Scroll all the way to the bottom and find some ip adress and www.runescape.com and DELETE it.

4) There ya go!

By the way I play Runescape.

It has something to do with the fact that your dad blocked it, and you don't have the password to disable the filtering program..
im sry that u cant go on runescape anymore but if u cant play it anymore can i plz plz have ur account,if i can plz email me the password and stuff to kabir51293@aol.com,and if u want it back i'll give it back
He blocked it for a Reason. If you spend all day every day hooked up to an online game like RuneScape, you may have an addiction to RuneScape.

Will it kill you to take a break from it?

I would recommend for your own good that you stop playing RuneScape and just try to find other interests.
well if your dad has blocked the site, then you can go to a website called dtunnel.com and type www.runescape.com in the box on that website, and you should be able to access it from there.
go into tools internet options and under privacy, teh sites button, it should be in there and labeled as blocked. delete it out of the list
sometimes it is automatically blocked with user settings. like if you are in middle school, some sites, like runescape, are blocked. if this is the case, ask your dad to change it and tell him in is appropriate. if he blocked it on purpose, you gotta deal, it is blocked for a reason then.

It could be in your internet settings. If it is blocked there, then you can unblock it, or download a new browser like "firefox"

If that is not the case, then you can browse the internet through a "proxy". There are web ones (ninjaproxy.com) or you can do it through putting the IP directly into your browser - just search google for "web proxy"
well i think what u need to do is just go to your computer place %26amp; click ur control panel %26amp; then click options there u'lll see privacy den u can un block the site u wanna use
